Aroma: Intensive Eichentöne, dunkle Früchte wie Beeren und Kirschen. Dazu gesellt sich Vanille, Karamell und dunkle Schokolade.
Geschmack: Samtig und weich auf der Zunge. Komplexe Noten vom Schokolade und Vanille zeigen sich auch im Geschmack. Später etwas Eiche und Sherry.
Abgang: Mittellang und weich. Etwas Eiche und dunkle Schokolade bilden den Abschluss.

Der Dalmore Kind Alexander III reifte in ausgewählten Ex-Bourbonfässern sowie in Matusalem Oloroso Sherryfässern. Darauf folgte ein Finish in Madeira-, Marsala-, Portwein- und Cabernet Sauvignon Weinfässern. Es entsteht so ein unbeschreibblich komplexer Single Malt mit Aromen von fruchtigen Beeren, Vanille und Karamell. Der Dalmore King Alexander III wird mit 40.0% vol. abgefüllt.
